Rich McCready, a native of the Midwest is a "true" country artist. His roots have kept him true to the sound of traditional country music with influences of Mele Haggard, George Strait, and the classic Bob Wills. After attending college, McCready moved to Nashville to pursue a lifelong dream, a career involving music.
Staying close to "traditional" country roots, McCready moved to Nashville in 1992 and began working on his craft. He soon signed with Magnatone Records in 1995 and released "Hangin On." By the end of 1996, he had 2 songs in the top 40. By 2004, McCready started his own recording studio and began distributing his works internationally. He developed Amercian Original Records, which is producing several chart hits and is touring to promote his music throughout the country.
